Protection of life and health of Naftagaz personnel and contractors, integrity of assets, reliability of equipment and environmental protection are critical to our Company's sustainable development. The target of Naftagaz occupational safety policy is zero injuries and accidents. To achieve this goal, Naftagaz utilizes all the experience gained both through its own operations and study of the industry best practices. Many initiatives and tools have been developed in this area, and their application ensures occupational safety of personnel at all levels.

The Company is aware that the production process of well drilling and servicing is a potential threat to the nature, and we assume our responsibility to the society and future generations for the protection of environment, ensuring environmental friendliness of our businesses and rational use of natural resources. To that matter, the Company has adopted an Environmental Protection Policy, which establishes principles and standards for ecological compliance that are strictly followed by all our employees in their activities. This allows the Company to maintain the ecological balance and keep the ecosystem within the areas of the Company’s operation safe.

The HSE standards are implemented through the Integrated Occupational Safety Management System. The system provides for safe working environment at all stages of operation. The Company is regularly audited for compliance with ISO international standards: ISO 9001 (oil and gas wells construction and rig-up), ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety) and ISO 14001 (environmental management). Our Company is licensed for operation of explosion/fire-hazardous and chemically-hazardous production facilities of Classes I, II and III, and has a license for use of buses for passenger transportation. Our Company is a member of Association of General Contractors in Construction. Our Company is certified by the National Agency for Welding Qualification (NAKS).
