Based on our performance over the past few years, we can confidently say that NaftaGaz has become one of the drilling leaders in the oilfield service industry in Russia. Over just 10 years of its existence, the company has become one of the top five largest independent drilling companies. This year, 28 to 30 drilling crews are working at the facilities of our partners – subsidiaries of Gazprom Neft PJSC, Rosneft Oil Company PJSC and Gazprom PJSC.

We have drilled more than 6.5 million meters, constructed more than 1,500 wells, 80% of which are horizontal completions. We are constantly improving our productive time ratio. The success of our team is particularly relevant in the context of an independent business. We have moved from intensive growth of quantitative indicators to qualitative development and improvement of operational efficiency.

We continue expanding our order portfolio by attracting new customers and developing high-margin technological services for deep well drilling projects. Our immediate plans are to complete the upgrading of the equipment fleet and bring the average lifespan of drilling rigs to 5 years.

Biography

Born in 1966, Nikolay Grishankov graduated from the Tyumen State Oil and Gas University with a degree in Oil and Gas Field Development and Exploitation.

He worked his way up from a field foreman to a senior manager, working in oil and gas companies such as Yuganskneftegaz OJSC, SGK LLC, SSK LLC, and Lukoil PJSC.

In the course of his career, he led the development and implementation of anti-crisis programs to bring enterprises to a profit margin, comprehensive programs to improve production processes, programs to upgrade drilling and oilfield equipment, increase labor productivity, corporate management systems, and introduced a number of advanced technologies in the field of oilfield services.

He was awarded the Honorary Oilman title (2016).

Nikolay is married, has three children.
