Islam Nazaraliev Among the Top 250 Senior Corporate Executives of Russia

Islam Nazaraliev, CEO of Naftagaz, has been listed among the Top Russian Managers in the “Top 250 Senior Corporate Executives” section. He is ranked 4th in the Energy and Fuel Complex category.

Islam Nazaraliev noted that his name being listed among the most effective Russian managers is "an appreciation of the work of the entire Naftagaz team, because in the difficult year of 2020, each employee of the company made a serious professional leap forward, not only to maintain production performance, but also to expand development horizons and to progress to another level”.

Naftagaz is among top five independent drilling companies. In 2020, despite negative local and global factors for the industry, the company properly fulfilled all its contractual obligations to its partners and team. The company's customers include subsidiaries of Gazpromneft PJSC and Rosneft PJSC. 2020 in facts and figures: the launch of the first gas project at Gazprom facilities. Drilling progress - 720 th. m, 174 wells were drilled, the share of horizontal drilling increased to 71%, the productive time ratio increased by 1.5%. Number of employees +11%, staff turnover decreased by 12%. Revenue increased by 2%, net profit by 400%. Investments in capital assets amounted to 921 million rubles (+55%). A number of IT projects were implemented in 2020, including an in-house product to automate the accounting, control, and analysis of the volume of transport contractor services. The process is as transparent as possible. Costs are reduced by 5%. To improve the efficiency, safety and transparency of the drilling process for oil and gas companies, the Digital Drilling Rig project was developed and is being implemented at the facilities of vertically integrated oil companies. A Comprehensive Personnel Training Center is now being set up based on the existing drilling foreman and supervisor school.
