This title was confirmed by NG-Bureniye LLC for the second year in a row. Furthermore, an additional nomination, Confidence in the Future, was awarded, showing that NaftaGaz as a production company has confirmed a sustainable business model secured by guaranteed contractual volumes for the coming years.
More than 74 companies from the Russian oilfield service industry took part in the contest. The decision was made on the basis of three stages, each of which involved open voting for the nominees, and required the submission of documented facts about social programs and projects implemented for the company's personnel.
In 2023, more than RUB 500 million were invested in improving the social and living conditions of NaftaGaz employees. These funds were used to introduce free meals for shift workers, repair a hostel for 200 persons, mend special cars and purchase new ones, including a modern residential modular shift complex. The NaftaGaz-Razvitie Training Center continues to expand the list of training programs, new specialized simulators are purchased, and additional training sites are created. Today, special attention is paid to the formation of a stable, qualified talent pool for the company made of young and eager employees, even with little experience, who will replenish and strengthen the core staff of drilling crews in the future. NaftaGaz-Razvitie launched an updated training program for drilling professions. It was developed for the participants of the Green Helmet project. It is supplemented with in-depth study of theory, immersion in the profession and practicing skills on simulators. During a week, the candidates learn the fundamentals of the profession, study labor protection rules and practical safe methods and techniques of working at heights. Based on the results, trainees receive qualification certificates and start working as trainees at the Company's production facilities under the supervision of experienced mentors. The internship period varies from 3 to 6 months.
The Best in Profession competition and the Scientific and Technical Conference are conventional tools of working with the team.
NaftaGaz implements a strategic equipment upgrading program. Over RUB 13 billion have been invested in this area in recent years. The project is being implemented to automate workplaces of the engineering and drilling crews personnel and upgrade communication channels and internal LAN infrastructure at the fields to ensure prompt reporting from the drilling rig, standardize processes, create a unified system of data exchange and reduce the burden on engineering technicians.
NaftaGaz is one of the five largest independent Russian drilling contractors, accredited by major oil and gas companies. Since its foundation to date, the company has drilled 6 million meters and constructed 1,500 wells (about 90% by horizontal drilling).
