NaftaGaz specialists achieved the milestone of 6,000,000 meters of penetration during the construction of well No. 122001 at well pad No. 220 of the Yuzhno-Priobskoye field, the customer being Gazpromneft-Khantos. The milestone meters were drilled by drilling crew No. 4 led by foreman Maksim Pesterev and assistant foreman Stanislav Zolotov at drilling pad 3000 EUK. NaftaGaz employees started the construction of the horizontal well on March 22 this year. At the moment of reaching the historical landmark, its actual depth amounted to 3,343 meters with the expected bottom hole being 3,591 meters. This is the sixth of 24 planned wells at this site.
The Priobskoye field is characterized by a complex geological structure in terms of area and section. When constructing wells in this section of the field, NaftaGaz together with Gazpromneft-Khantos select various drilling and completion methods and use the advanced drilling equipment, taking into account the accumulated experience and the complexity of the geological section.
The first meter of rock was drilled by NaftaGaz-Bureniye on October 14, 2014 at well No. 2554 cluster 12 of Verkhne-Shapshinskoye field, the customer being Russneft.

6 million meters is almost 1.5 thousand wells. The last 400 wells were drilled with the help of an automatic drilling complex developed by the group's subsidiary, Tsyfrovoye Bureniye, and installed on all NaftaGaz drilling rigs. This process solution resulted in a steady increase in mechanical speed and reduction of drilling time.
