Under a five-year contract with Gazpromneft-Zapolyarye LLC, NaftaGaz oilfield service company constructed 14 gas wells at the Pestsovoye oil and gas condensate field (Gazprom PJSC) in the period from September 2020 through April 2021. In particular, the production well on Pad 1650 was drilled 2.2 days ahead of the statutory time limit. The length of the horizontal well completed by the company amounted to 1981 metres. The works were performed using EUK-3000 drilling unit with a capacity of 200 tonnes.
This is the first gas project for NaftaGaz that has been implementing oil well drilling projects and providing full-cycle rigging services in the Yamalo-Nenets and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Areas, Krasnoyarsk Territory, and Tyumen and Tomsk Regions since 2014. Currently, NaftaGaz operates 3 drilling units in the Cenomanian deposits of the Pestsovoye license area.
NaftaGaz is a TOP-5 independent drilling contractor in Russia that improves its drilling rate and adds new customers to its portfolio every year. The company operates in the Yamalo-Nenets and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Areas, Tyumen and Tomsk Regions, and its production base is in Noyabrsk.
The company has drilled 3.3 million metres since 2014 (806 wells, 70% of them by horizontal drilling). In 2020, total meterage amounted to 720 thous. metres (174 wells). Over the course of five years, the company has invested virtually RUB 6 billion in fixed assets.
