The project of the NaftaGaz Group for the implementation of a comprehensive automation system for the Naftagaz-Development training center has won the prestigious competition "1S: Project of the Year" in the nomination "Best Project in the Special Area: Electronic Learning (LMS)".
"1S: Project of the Year" is an annual contest held by the "1S" company for the partners and users. It recognizes the most successful and illustrative projects for implementing solutions based on the "1S" platform across various industries. The victory in this contest indicates the highest level of project implementation, its innovative nature, and significant economic results.
The project was implemented jointly with the implementation partner, the Russian Solutions Education Competence Center. It was based on the deployment and adaptation of "1S: Electronic Learning. LMS Corporate University + Web-Office for Teacher and Student" and "1S: Management of the Training Center" software products.
The main aim of the project was the transition of the work of the Naftagaz-Development corporate training center to a qualitatively new level through the automation of the key processes. This allowed to solve several critically important tasks: radically simplify the training process for 2,500 employees of the company, implement comprehensive control over all the stages of the educational cycle, and seamlessly integrate the new systems with the "1S" solutions used in the company.
The Key Results of Implementation:
• Shortened time for preparation and printing out the educational documents by 15 times (from 15 minutes to 1 minute);
• Training planning sped up by 10 times – the system determines automatically, who and when should be trained, shortening the process from several days to 10 minutes;
• Safed time of the training center’s employees daily by 30% due to automation of the routine operations;
• Shortened time for the data exchange with the system “1S: Salary and Personnel Management” to 1 minute (earlier took up to several days);
• Notifications are sent to the trainees automatically for 30 seconds without the intervention of the manager (earlier the distribution took from 30 to 120 minutes).
“It was a key issue for us to create not only a digital solution, but an integral ecosystem of the personnel development,” noted Artur Sayfullin, the Head of NaftaGaz-Development. “The implemented solution became an architect of efficiency for our training center, enabling us not only save time, but re-distribute the resources for the strategic tasks: the development of the content and improvement of the training quality. The highest grade of 5 points, which we put to the system for all the parameters, and the victory in the competition – a deserved recognition of the achieved result».
Implementation Stages and Peculiarities
The project was implemented within the compact terms of 9 months and included deep adaption of typical solutions of «1S» for the needs of the large oil service company.
Among the key upgrades:
• Setting of automatic transfer of the titles’ profiles and compulsory courses from «1S: ZUP»;
• Integration with the Federal Register of Educational Documents Data (FIS FRDO);
• Creation of automated distribution mechanism for the employees at each stage of training;
• Setting of web-rooms for the instructors and trainees, which made the process comfortable and transparent.
The project has been put into industrial operation and has already become an integral part of the daily work at the Naftagaz-Development training center. For 2025, further development of the system is planned to support the continuous professional growth of the company's employees.
