NaftaGaz reached peak records in drilling rate at the Tazovskoye field

At the production facilities of the Tazovskoye oil and gas condensate field the drilling crew No. 10 (NaftaGaz Group), which has been leading the “Best Crew of the Month” corporate ranking, reached the peak records in drilling rate at two wells: a multi-legged well with 5 horizontal branches up to 1,000 meters, and a well, constructed based on the TAML completion technique – 1 with three horizontal branches from 1,500 to 2,000 m constructed with the peak records in terms of drilling rate.

In this regard the Client’s Management sent a Thank you letter to the drillers. Therein “the peak records and high production culture during wells construction” were highlighted.

At the Tazovskoye field NaftaGaz uses the Automated Drilling Control System – the Company’s own development is based on the Tsifrovoye Bureniye (Digital Drilling) project, which enables to select optimal drilling modes, decrease emergency probability during performance of the works by minimizing the human factor.

NaftaGaz is within the top five largest independent drilling companies, is certified of the largest Russian petroleum companies. The main clients remain the subsidiary structures of PAO Gazprom Neft and PAO Rosneft. Since establishment over 6.3 million meters were drilled (1,500 wells). Since 2014 to 2024 investments to the main foundations shall comprise over 12 billion rubles. The personnel number is about 2,500 employees. The production base is located in the city of Noyabrsk (Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug).
