NaftaGaz provided help to doctors in Noyabrsk

NaftaGaz, Russian oilfield services company, has contributed to the fight with coronavirus. Drillers and riggers, based in Noyabrsk, Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area, provided assistance to the Central Municipal Hospital in equipment of health workers with protective facilities.

The facilities handed over to health workers include medical masks, respirators, Tyvec Dupont and Micromax biological protective overalls, antiseptics, disinfectants in tablets, safety glasses, medical gloves.

Since the start of the epidemic, NaftaGaz has been also actively cooperating with its customers to prevent diseases at production sites. Workers arriving on duty are sent to a 14-day quarantine, testing for coronavirus is carried out, buffer zones are organized, provision of disinfectants and personal protective equipment is arranged. As of May 13, 2020, none of operating workers had fallen ill with coronavirus, and the triple test results showed no ill persons among the arriving shift workers either.

“We take the health of our employees and their families as seriously as possible and make every effort to prevent the risk of infection at the facilities,” said Islam Nazaraliev, CEO of NaftaGaz JSC. “Despite difficult conditions in the oil market, our company considered it important to help the city of our main base. We highly appreciate the selfless work of health workers of Noyabrsk, Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area, and of the whole country and wish them health and strength in their struggle for the nation’s health.”
