NaftaGaz perfects feedback from its drilling crews

Regularly held Days of Foreman in NaftaGaz Company have moved to a higher level. Now the foremen of drilling crews don't need to leave the site in order to take part in the event. Meetings are held over the intercom since all drilling crews have been equipped with voice communication. Video communication system is planned to be launched in the near future.

Before some foremen had to move across the distance up to 1,500 kilometers since the geography of NaftaGaz operations is vast enough. This prevented the foremen from their immediate job for a substantial period of time. There's no such problem anymore.

The Days of Foreman gather top managers of the company by activity lines, managers and executive officials of Naftagaz Drilling LLC, production services, foremen of drilling crews.

Line managers summarize results of the past period and explain foremen perspective goals and objectives. For example, service of labor protection, industrial safety and environmental protection compiles rating of crews by a series of key indicators – compliance with the regulations, absence of complaints from the customers, absence of accidents, etc. Understanding of the current crew position in such crew rating motivates foremen to take measures for work improvement. Special attention is paid to reasons and means of elimination of the principal infringements in labor and environmental protection, as well as in industrial safety, build-up of effective work relations with contractors, etc.

In turn, foremen have an opportunity to directly address their urgent questions to the top level management and immediately get answers to them. This relates to work and rest conditions at the drilling facility, quality of working clothes and personal protection equipment, etc. Thus, at the last meeting the issues concerning provision of drilling crews with household equipment (air-conditioners, washing machines) and its scheduled replacement were discussed.

Such meetings are important as the main feedback channel with employees and are held in the company on a constant basis.
