Drillers of Naftagaz-Drilling are the best in the contest of Gazprom Neft

Gazprom Neft Company has summed up the results of the contest “The best team in production drilling (downhole drilling systems)” for 9 months of the current year. The two teams of Naftagaz Drilling have joined the ranks of pacemakers. The first places in the projects “Khantos” and “Vostok” were taken by teams “Driller” (the team of of R. Pryjmak, supervisor is Gazpromneft-Khantos, LLC) and “Mercury” (the team of P. Gogol, supervisor is Gazpromneft-Vostok, LLC) respectively. Other drilling contractors were represented among the winners each by one team.

Contest has been among the teams comprising of drilling crews and service contractors who participate in the well drilling process. Captains of the teams are the supervisors.

Work of the contestants is scored by a number of parameters: penetration rate, compliance with industrial and occupational safety and environmental protection requirements, percentage of downtime etc. Determining factors are non-accidence and compliance with safety rules. Any team committed a significant or major accident at its object shall be disqualified till the end of the year.

Objective of this contest is to improve communication between service contractors and to create a united team, as well as to increase the efficiency of the well construction works and to develop the industrial and occupational safety and environmental protection culture.
