Over 800 thousand metres in the Far North

The drilling crews of LLC Naftagaz-Drilling started work at the northern sites of JSC Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegaz in June 2015. In almost five years, the enterprise built 186 wells, 143 of them being high-tech horizontal wells, in extremely harsh environmental conditions.

In February of 2020, the anniversary year of cooperation between Naftagaz-Drilling and Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegaz, the total depth drilled by the drillers of the independent service company NaftaGaz was 825 thousand metres.

Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegaz and its former branch in Muravlenko are considered as one of the advanced sites of the Russian oil and gas industry in terms of innovation: innovative hydrocarbon production and extraction technologies, as well as occupational and environmental safety methods. This approach certainly added to strengthening the cooperation with NaftaGaz. It is for a good reason that NaftaGaz is known in the Russian oilfield service market as a pioneer in using advanced drilling methods and the leader in production process automation.
