NaftaGaz supports the festival of national cultures ‘Red Sun’

For the second consecutive year, the Russian oilfield services company NaftaGaz has been the partner of the festival of national cultures entitled ‘Red Sun’. The event is to be held from 22 to 25 June 2018 in Sochi. Its main goal is to preserve and develop national cultures of the peoples of Russia. The festival brings together solo performers (singers, dancers, instrumentalists), and groups of various forms and compositions. They are not only professional artists, but also young and folk talents. The participants are aged from 6 years old and above.

- The festival is dedicated to works in the folk style, however in any genre and presentation. It can be modern exposition of folk music, author’s works based on folk material, revisions, urban romance and authentic folklore, folk dance, folk stylized dance, said Olesya Evstigneeva, Art Director of the Festival, Honoured Artist of Russia.

The festival will open on June 22 in the square near the Sochi Art Museum. Along with the performances by artists, the program includes handicraft master classes and a fair. On June 23, the concert will continue in the fan zone for all guests of the FIFA World Cup. And on the last day of the event (June 25), the green theatre of the Riviera Park will host a final gala concert with the participation of Olesya Evstigneeva, Evgeny Gora, Ekaterina Brodskaya and other famous artists.
