NaftaGaz holds a meeting of representatives of drilling and well servicing & workover companies and Gazprom Neft

On 28 and 29 November, a meeting of the leading Russian drilling, well servicing and workover companies and representatives of Gazprom Neft was held in Moscow.
The event was held in the Moscow office of NaftaGaz Oilfield Service Company within the framework of Partner Steering Group.

The Partner Group was established in 2018 and unites most independent drilling contractors in Russia. The Group was established to allow oilfield service contractors to make joint decisions on customer relation issues.

"We consider the creation of a single health and safety management system in the Company as the foundation for successful business development," says Islam Nazarliev, CEO of NaftaGaz JSC. "In addition, the Company sees itself as a partner to customers actively participating in a modern safety culture development not only at our own production facilities, but also in all our contractor companies. We cannot take such major efforts alone, so such meetings are important not only for better customer relations, but also for sharing the valuable experience and best practices."

The meeting of the Steering Group has been held for two days. On the first day, the participants discussed the results of activities planned at the previous meeting.

In addition, they discussed the current health and safety status of the customer’s facilities, results of testing the H&S culture checklist, requirements to personal protective equipment for drilling and WSWO crews, results of installing safety systems, proposals from service providers and other issues.

The second day of the meeting was devoted to discussing the latest H&S practices.

Naftagaz-Drilling Branch is one of Top 5 independent drilling companies in Russia by drilling rates. From 2014 to 2019, Naftagaz-Drilling reached a total drilling rate of 2,300,000 meters.
