Naftagaz-Drilling has drilled a well over 5,000 m deep

Horizontal well with actual depth of over five thousand meters was drilled for the first time by Naftagaz-Drilling at well pad No. 553 of the Yuzhno-Priobskoye field for our customer, Gazpromneft-Khantos LLC.

Well No. 42713 without a pilot borehole has a design depth of 5101 m, the actual depth is 5097 m, a horizontal displacement is 2357 m, and the length of the horizontal section is 2000 meters. Careful process design and vast experience of the drilling crew and engineering staff allowed us to drill this well using 200-ton drilling rig. For this type of drilling rig, it is a highly complex task.
