Naftagaz-Drilling drills multilateral wells ahead of schedule

The Drilling production unit of Russian oilfield services company NaftaGaz has commenced drilling of multilateral wells at the 2 Otdelnoye field. The works are carried out in advance of the scheduled timeline. Three bilateral wells have been handed over to the Customer ahead of schedule. Construction of multilateral wells reduces producer's costs, increases productivity, ensures efficient oil influx and enhances oil recovery factor.

Nafragaz-Drilling has highly qualified personnel capable of conducting all types of drilling works. The advanced equipment and tools make it possible to implement technically complex projects. In 2017 only, Nafragaz-Drilling invested over 2 billion and 600 million rubles into purchase of new equipment and upgrade of the existing items. During 2015-2017 the total amount of investments made 3 billion and 700 million rubles. Last year Naftagaz-Drilling for the first time exceeded the footage of 600,000 meters/year, which brought the company to the Top-5 independent drilling contractors in Russia in terms of footage.
