Last year was the most successful in the Company's history. Up to 20 active drilling crews simultaneously drilled an unprecedented number of meters in the reporting period. As of 31 December 2019, the total annual drilling rate of Naftagaz-Drilling for all customers was 756,756 meters. Naftagaz had never seen such a drilling rate before, the maximum drilling rate exceeded 600,000 meters during the last two years.
"In accordance with the business plan for 2020, the Company expects to improve both production and financial performance," says Islam Nazarliev, CEO of Management Company NaftaGaz JSC. "Our confidence relies on the three to five-year existing and proposed well construction contracts." The Company has every opportunity to reach a mark of 1,000,000 meters per year in the short term.
The number of drilled wells increased year-over-year and amounted to 188.
