The metreage of Naftagaz-Drilling, a drilling unit of a Russian oilfield services company NaftaGaz, amounted to one million and a half from start of operations. It is worth mentioning that Naftagaz-Drilling drilled its first million meters since start of operations in October 2017.
Islam Nazaraliev, CEO of NaftaGaz, noted:
“The company is developing at a good pace. Last year for the first time we drilled 600,000 meters within a year, and this year we expect to repeat our last year achievement at the very least. The numbers demonstrate that the goal is achievable: in 1H 2018 we drilled 7.8% more than in the same period last year. However, we are not going after numbers. We are striving to provide process complicated and innovative services. This will help the company to strengthen its positions among top 5 Russian drilling companies.”
