Less than a hundred thousand to one million metres drilled

In February 2020, the drilling unit of the Russian company NaftaGaz surpassed the level of 900 thousand metres drilled for one of its clients LLC Gazpromneft-Khantos.

The cooperation between the drillers of JSC NaftaGaz and one of the largest subsidiaries of Gazprom neft has lasted for already 4 years. In this period, the experts of Naftagaz-Drilling have completed 204 wells, 178 of them being horizontal and 26 inclined. Last year, the drilling for Gazpromneft-Khantos used only the horizontal technique.

The fields operated by LLC Gazpromneft-Khantos are located in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area and the Tyumen Region and are objectively considered to be among the most difficult oil properties in the North of Russia, both in terms of environmental conditions, and process specifics.

The efficiency and promptness of the oilfield service company NaftaGaz in solving the most difficult production problems were appreciated here much time ago. The crews of Naftagaz-Drilling have repeatedly won in regional professional skill competitions, and the team was awarded the title The Most Efficient Contractor due to their dedication and concerted efforts. Thanks to this success, NaftaGaz, an independent and relatively young company, has been always among the top service companies providing services to PJSC Gazprom neft, a giant of the Russian oil and gas industry.
