The record was reached at “Otdelnoe” Field during the construction of double-barreled horizontal well of the 1st level of complexity according to the TAML classification.
On January 27, 2018 drilling crew of masters A. Vasilyev and F. Kashapov completed drilling the well № 24 on a bush №2 of “Otdelnoe” Field ahead of the regulatory deadline while setting a new record for this type of wells (the customer of JSC Gazpromneft Noyabrskneftegaz).
The actual construction period was 30.1 days. The total excavation of the well was 4,990 meters. The drilling of the well was carried out with a record indicator for the excavation – is 6.03 days per 1000 meters.
Previously, the best result when drilling a double-barreled horizontal well was 6.4 days per 1000 m.
The impressive result was achieved because of expeditious and qualified actions of the drilling team of Naftagaz-Drilling LLC, as well as the use of a number of modern technological and organizational solutions.
